About Christ Lutheran Church

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are intentional in welcoming everyone to worship and participate with us.  The ELCA represents an inclusive Lutheran perspective, rooted in the grace of God. No matter who you are, where you are in your life and faith, you are welcome here.

Founded in 1973, Christ Lutheran Church is located on the North Shore of Hood Canal, about 3.5 miles west of Belfair on the North Shore Road.

All are welcome, without exception.

Whether you are single, married, or partnered,

widowed or divorced,

young or old, or somewhere in between....

Whether you are...

exploring your faith,

wondering about God,

seeking community,

new to church, or a life-long Lutheran,

you are welcome here!

Whether you live in the Belfair area,

or whether you are vacationing here,

you are welcome here.

Come as you are!

About Our Pastor: Rev. Anna Czarnik-Neimeyer

Rev. Anna Czarnik-Neimeyer (she/her) came to love the Church by way of outdoor ministry in her home state of Wisconsin. Daughter of a camp director, Pr. Anna grew up living and working at camps for 22 years before becoming the national programs coordinator at Holden Village, a Lutheran retreat center in the Cascade Mountains, doing youth ministry and adult retreat leadership. Pr. Anna’s first career was in higher education, helping to found an academic diversity center at a Catholic college, supervising programming, students, and building operations. Pr. Anna attended Seattle University and Luther Seminary, serving her CPE Spiritual Care unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She was Interim Minister at UW Lutheran Campus Ministry, Interim Minister at the Jubilee Collective in Vancouver, WA, and served her joint pastoral internship at Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland, WA & Design for Peace at the SW Washington Synod.

Pr. Anna holds a B.A. in Communications and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies synthesizing management, religion, and social justice, and is a proud member of Proclaim, a collective of over 400 LGBTQ+ Lutheran ministers & seminarians, through Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries. She loves playing guitar for “Childcare Chapel,” leading Bible Study, and her favorite hymn is “Canticle of the Turning,” (ELW 723).
