We invite you to come and worship with us. Our worship services are an easy to follow format. (You'll find everything you need to participate printed in the bulletin so you don't need to worry about juggling books or trying to find your way around a hymnal). If you are new to faith, you may discover that what is new to you may quickly become familiar. We invite you to participate in worship in whatever way you are able and to the degree that you are comfortable. We are friendly and down to earth and we don't take ourselves too seriously.
If you have roots in a "liturgical church" tradition, you will recognize the pattern of the liturgy as we gather in worship each week to hear God's word and celebrate Holy Communion. We follow the Revised Common Lectionary, a shared three year schedule of scripture readings shared by many Christian churches, including Lutherans, Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Methodists, and others. We sing a wide variety of hymns and songs, old and new, from gospel to global and everything in between. We use Evangelical Lutheran Worship, together with freshly written materials from Sundaysandseasons.com, the ELCA online worship planning resource, to guide us in our worship planning.
